ZAP! They always come up with fresh themes for their ranges, and this one is inspired by Japan. It’s called the Aisu range, and ZAP! are confident they’re going to win more awards with this menthol-inspired group of e-liquids. But the real question is: will they be Rocky Balboa or will they slip and slide like they’re on an ice rink? Let’s find out!
First off, the pronunciation of Aisu is “ICE YOU.” ZAP! tells us, “A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. Aisu is known for its authenticity of flavour.” So, all we need to focus on is the flavour. And boy, do they deliver!
The bottle designs and logos are exceptionally well thought out. ZAP! have gone the extra mile in ensuring a tamper-free product upon arrival, which deserves some major kudos.
There are five profiles available in this particular review: Dragon Fruit, Aloe Vera, and Cucumber, along with two other fruity profiles. Each one has a 70VG/30PG ratio in a 50ml, nicotine-free shortfill.
Dragon Fruit was a blast of cold ice that hit the back of my throat, which took some getting used to. But once the shock wore off, it offered fruity back notes of orange, kiwi, and mango. Although subtle in approach, this is an otherwise authentic tropical blend, softened by the blast of cold ice yet remaining very smooth as a vape.
Aloe Vera is bursting with flavor! It’s sweet on the exhale, reminding me of the popular energy drink profile in their Z-Fuel range. It’s totally understandable that it has already won an award in Korea in the Best Juice category.
Cucumber is an excellent reproduction of the fruit/veg, with a nice sweet kick on the exhale and the menthol/cooling effect lingering on the lips and taste buds. Thanks to no other variables being thrown into the mix, we’re left with an amazingly realistic cucumber flavor that really shines.
Overall, I think the Aisu range is a winner. The menthol-inspired profiles really bring out the best in each fruit/veg, making for a refreshing and delightful vaping experience. Thanks, ZAP! Juice, for supplying these bottles free of charge for review purposes. My opinions are my own, and your experience may differ, but I highly recommend giving this range a try!
