We tested two of their popular flavours, namely, Apple Peach and Energy Ice. The Apple Peach flavour was tested with the 0.8ohm mesh pod and produced a high level of sweetness that overwhelmed the taste of the garden apple. The peach flavour was absent, and the sweetness combined with a cooling agent to create a brain freeze sensation. Although the garden fruit is authentic, the sweetness level was too high for our liking.
The Energy Ice flavour was tested with the 1.2ohm mesh pod and was packed with an intense mixed fruit flavour and a well-balanced menthol content that was refreshing without the brain freeze sensation. The flavour was concentrated and provided a wet tasting experience with hints of raspberry, blueberry and blackberry, however, it had a slight candy-inspired aftertaste.
Overall, Bar Juice 5000 range is a great choice for anyone looking for a lower carbon footprint, natural flavourings, and honest ingredients. Although the flavours we tested had some minor drawbacks, it is a product worth trying.
