I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Bar Series 100ml short fill E-liquid range from Mixtio Labs Inc, a UK based company that specializes in manufacturing, packaging and white label products, as well as producing their own line of e-liquids. The Bar Series range has been designed to compete with disposable vape flavors that are currently saturating the market. The range includes five of the most popular, widely recognized flavors available, and come in 100ml short fill bottles with space for two 10ml nicotine shots. The starting e-liquid ratio is 70VG/30PG, making it perfect for sub ohm tank setups, but is also available in 10ml bottles pre-mixed with a salt nicotine strength of 10mg for lower powered pod devices.
The Blueberry Sour Raspberry flavor is a tasty combination of fruity sweetness with tangy sherbet notes, producing a vape that reminds me of berries mixed with a zingy lemonade. The sherbet qualities are the most noticeable, but they are well balanced with the ice cold exhale, giving the vape a distinct character. However, the lemonade seems to be underplayed and replaced by a tangy sharpness, while the raspberry is barely noticeable due to the weight of the blueberry. Despite its subtle output, the chemical, artificial flavor does reappear as an aftertaste. The Koolada is nicely balanced and doesn’t cause irritation thanks to additional airflow, but overall, the vape is quite bland.
The Grape flavor did not meet my expectations. While the inhale started with a healthy dose of sweetness, the exhale reminded me of cats pee and had a musky vintage wine flavor that ruined the experience for me. Unfortunately, it doesn’t resemble the fruit at all and tastes synthetic and false, like most grape-flavored vapes.
Lastly, the Strawberry Raspberry Cherry flavor is a delightful combination of all three fruits that hits the spot. It is a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, with no single flavor dominating the others. The aroma of the vape is lovely, and the taste of the fruits is fresh and authentic, making it the best of the bunch.
Overall, the Bar Series range of e-liquids is worth considering for vapers who are looking for an alternative to disposable vape flavors. While not every flavor impressed me, the range is reasonably priced and offers a great deal of value for money.
